VIFCC has a History of Recognition in the Community. VIFCC has a long history of helping those in need in the 12 communities we serve
in Cincinnati's Millcreek Valley. In the last several years, we have been
recognized for our hard work by receiving several awards.
We were presented with a proclamation from the State of Ohio House of
Representatives commending us on our "exemplary record of community service."
This citation states: "The generous contributions of Valley Interfaith have
improved the lives of those in need and it is only fitting we commend [them] for
their altruistic efforts and their dedication to helping others."
VIFCC was also presented with an Agency of the Year award by the FreeStore/FoodBank.
We were selected from 550 agencies because of our 18 year problem-free
relationship with the awarding agency, the efficiencies of dealing with one
pantry representing over two dozen churches rather than dealing with over two
dozen separate church pantries, and the uniform and disciplined nature of our
management systems.
We are very thankful for this recognition, however we realize that we would not
be able to achieve this without the generous help of our sponsoring
congregations, our wonderful volunteers and the donations that we receive from
local businesses and residents.
